217. Dessin. Drawing.

I wonder if one day I will be a good illustrator. I wonder what my potential is. I have made progress these past few years. Does an illustratior continue to progress until his death? Or until he reaches his full potential ? Or until he looses motivation ? Or energy ? How will I be drawing in 10 years, in 50 years ? Have I begun too late to become really good, or am I only stammering ? Were the big illustrators born with a greater capacity than others ? Or did they have the most favorable context in which to develop their capacity ? Or both ? Isn't that all only vanity ? We take a boat tour on the Vattava river. Prague is surrounded by trees.

Si je peux confirmer en anglais : (I found your blog via the Plunk-blog)all those questions ! I have struggled with exactly the same questions, but you, my friend are way too good to be stuck on those questions. It is very simple to me : you are a great artist, working at a professional level, your drawings and ideas are full of life, creative, vibrant, fun to look at,..and it's normal an artist questions his work all of the time, but you have to know that you are talented. I stumbled on your blog(s !) and was like WOW !!! As an artist you have the power to create stuff out of nothing. You are the god of your creations, how cool is that ? :) Only you can make what you make. And you have a very personal style (something many artists keep looking for all of their lives ) and all these existential questions are unimportant. You are who you are today and your skills will certainly evolve. There will always be people you envy, the grass is always greener on the other side :), but I'm sure you inspire many others and that makes it totally worth it. You inspire me, at least ! These fine detailed lines and colourwork are fascinating and resourceful to me.I look at your techniques and I hope to be as good as you one day, and had the same questions, but I know that if you like what you are doing and keep doing it, you will evolve anyway. Just keep having fun at it :)
good luck, mister ! I hope you will keep making this beautiful pieces of artwork
