Ah que j'aime mon métier ! Jamais, quand j'ai commencé, je n'aurai imaginé qu'il me conduirait au Kenya pour donner des cours d'écriture de BD et de livre pour enfants. C'est ce que je dis à mes étudiants, c'est un métier passionnant, riche et varié et on ne sait pas jusqu'où il peut nous emmener. Il y a quelques années, j'enviais Lewis tromdheim et ses voyages exotiques. Il me disait : "Ton tour viendra." Et voilà, mon tour est venu. Bossez mes étudiants, au lieu de râler, et votre tour viendra ! Ah how I love my job! Never, when I started, would I ever have imagined that it would lead me to Kenya to give courses on writing comics and books for children. This is what I tell my students, it’s an enthralling career, rich and varied and one doesn’t know where it will take them. A few years ago, I envied Lewis Tromdheim and his exotic travels. He told me: “Your turn will come.” And here it is, my turn! Work my students, and your turn will come!
