170. Le concert de Third Day - The Third day concert

Nous allons à un concert rock de noel par deux groupes chrétiens. Third Day et Jars of Clay. Je ne connais pas ce dernier mais j'aime énormément le rock suave de Third Day. Le concert est dans une église moderne. La salle, genre grande salle de concert, est pleine. Le concert fantastique. Third Day dménage et Jars of Clay se révèlent excellent. En Afrique, j'étais allé dans des églises qui bougent, des églises joyeuses et vivantes. Là, me voilà dans une église rockn'roll. J'aime ça. Une foi vivante, chaleureuse plutôt que religieuse. En sortant sur le parking, on constate qu'il a encore neigé. La couche est épaisse. On déshabille les voitures avant d'aller se coucher. We go to a Christmas rock concert by two Christian groups, Third Day and Jars of Clay. I don’t know Jars of Clay, but I love Third Day’s smooth rock. The concert is in a modern church. The room, like a big concert hall, is full, the concert, fantastic. Third Day rocks and Jars of Clay is excellent too. In Africa, I went to churches that moved, joyful churches that were full of life. And here I am now in a Rock-n-Roll church! I like that! A faith that’s alive, more warm than religious. When we got out to the parking lot afterwards, we noticed that it had snowed again. A thick layer. We clean off the car and then head for the place where we’ll be staying the night.
